David Wood: [00:00:00] And I’ve created an eight week program. And I’ll tell you what’s in the program because those are the steps that I think any business owner would want to go through to double income and their time off. And it’s quite simple. So step one is plot your course, we need to know what your clear goals are.
If we’re going to hit them and, or you’d be surprised how many people just don’t have really clear targets. So that’s the first thing. Second we want to up your productivity. The human mind is like a monkey on crack. And you’re probably find that you’re getting scattered and over here and over there, and you might not have sprints booked into your calendar.
And even when you do Facebook is pulling you away. So the second thing we do, we double your productivity, get twice as much done in half the time. It’s actually possible. That’s step two. In the third week, how’s your mindset because a lot of people right now are consuming fear. We consume fear in the media.
We want to make the shift from you consuming fear to creating content. Let’s lead your audience. Let’s lead your customers. Let’s lead your kids, your partner. So I’m a big fan of, instead of fighting and resisting what’s happening. Can you welcome it? You might then redirect it, but initially let’s welcome.

David Wood: [00:01:32] Okay. Step four. We want to look at your leads. Some people have a trickle of leads. We don’t want that. We want to have a flood of leads. So we’ll look at the five ones. And is your messaging super clear? I want all my clients to have what I call caveman messaging.
A caveman should be able to grunt it. Like for me, my message. Double income,

David Wood: [00:01:57] Double income. One year, double time off. One year, right? That’s caveman messaging and then step five. We’re up to, I got a picture of the wheel in my head. As we go round at step five. Conversions. When people come to your site, are they signing up to your opt in?
And then do you have a sequence that nurtures them and converts them into a sale? So we’re looking at conversions and then step six is your upsells. Leveraging of your existing customers, you’ve got to give them some love. Are there regular upsells? Are they buying repeat business from you and are they sending referrals, right?
Yeah. Yeah. And by the way, in my head, these are all in three buckets. So the next bucket with step seven, eight, nine. Step seven, this is where you leverage. You got to leverage your time. So step seven is where you clarify your genius. We do an audit of everything that you do in your business, and you could apply this to your life.
And then we go through and work out what are you going to get off your plate? What should someone else be doing? You’re going to keep the stuff that you love, and you’re great at. The rest, we’re going to get off your plate. And then step eight, you got to go and hire talent. You got to get that talent, harness the talent.
And then the last step is motivating your team. So that they’ve got really clear accountabilities. They know what the game is each week and they get a really big pat on the back when they achieve what they said they were going to do. And when they don’t, have a, we have an open conversation. We welcome it.
